About Me

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow (Specially Funded) at the Weihai Institute for Interdisciplinary Research, Shandong University. I received my Ph.D. in Population, Resources and Environmental Economics from Shandong University under the supervision of Prof. Ning Zhang.

My research applies frontier microeconometric and causal machine learning methods to industrial firms and regional economies in China, with a focus on how extreme climate shocks, market-based environmental policies, and digital/renewable infrastructure shape their environmental and economic outcomes.

  • Productivity Analysis: Total factor productivity; frontier estimation; quantile efficiency
  • Causal Inference and Machine Learning: Difference-in-differences; causal forests; heterogeneous treatment effects
